Meadow Mist Malamutes
Pictures of Our Family
About Us
We are a family of six and live in the beautiful Hood Canal area of the Pacific Northwest. Our four children are ages 18, 15, 14, and 12. We bought them a puppy for Christmas 2007...our beautiful Lakeview's Greygirl Shanghai.
Since then it has been a wonderful adventure!! Our pack consists of Shanghai, Skye (Shanghai's daughter), and Thunder. We enjoy spending time with our dogs and they are part of the family.
The breeding process has been a wonderful experience for our family. It is important that we find the right homes for our "grandpups", so if you are interested in one of ours, give us a call so we can get acquainted.
PUPPIES!!
We have a litter born September 20, 2012! These sweet puppies will be ready for their new homes on November 15, 2012. Please see "Puppies 2012" for pictures.
Puppy Placement
We want our puppies to go to good homes where they will receive lots of love and attention. The Alaskan Malamute is a working dog that will require daily exercise. The breed is known for its stubbornness so early training is key. The Malamute is also known for its friendliness toward people and loyalty to its owner.
We do ask that you spay or neuter your pup as soon as your vet permits, unless you are planning to show your dog. We also require that the puppy has a safe, secure environment that includes a fenced yard. This breed will not do well to be tied up.
AKC Registration papers
Our puppies come with AKC limited registration papers. There are no breeding rights with limited registration.
